Loaded BBQ Sweet Potato Fries with Jackfruit

BBQ season is nearly upon us and our Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries have never tasted better! With a delicious combination of plant-based ingredients, this recipe is the perfect balance of nutritious indulgence. We have topped our fries with succulent pulled BBQ jackfruit, this South Indian fruit is packed with anti-oxidants and has an incredible resemblance to pulled pork!Served with melted vegan cheese and creamy guacamole, this will be your guaranteed summer snack. These really are the loaded fries of dreams!

Preheat the oven to 200°C


Place STRONG ROOTS products on a baking tray and cook as per instructions on the bag


Slice the onion and chili, add to a bowl with vinegar and maple syrup and leave to pickle


Mash the avocado in a bowl with the other guacamole ingredients, mix until you reach your desired consistency. Season to taste.


Heat the BBQ jackfruit as per instructions on the tin. When finished mash with a fork to achieve pulled texture. Set to one side


Remove the fries from the oven and assemble on a serving platter. Add the jackfruit and cheese and briefly return to the oven to melt.


Finish by adding the guacamole, pickled onions and chili.
