Yes, all Strong Roots products are vegan friendly.

Most people choose to follow the instructions on pack and oven bake their Strong Roots, but you can also use an air-fryer, a frying pan or a BBQ.

Strong Roots products do not contain peanuts, and there are no peanuts handled on any of the sites in which they're produced.

Strong Roots products do not contain dairy, however, dairy is handled on the site where the following products are produced: Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, Kale & Quinoa Burger, Mixed Root Vegetable Fries, Pumpkin & Spinach Burger, Spinach Bites, Cauliflower Hash Browns, Proper Chips, Seasonal Greens, Sweet Potato Hash Browns.

Strong Roots products do not contain egg, however, eggs are handled on the site where the following products are produced: Kale & Quinoa Burger, Pumpkin & Spinach Burger, Spinach Bites, Proper Chips, Sweet Potato Hash Browns.

Our Oven Baked Sweet Potato Fries, Proper Chips, Garlic Roasted Sweet Potato, Mixed Root Vegetable Fries and Seasonal Greens* are all gluten free. The Kale & Quinoa, The Pumpkin & Spinach, Spinach Bites and are currently not gluten free due to their outer coating. Our Cauliflower Hash Browns do not contain gluten, however gluten is handled on the site they are made, so for that reason, we cannot state that they are gluten free. Please be assured we take all necessary precautions to ensure that no cross contamination occurs and carry out regular finished product testing.

We do not recommend eating any Strong Roots products that have defrosted and have been frozen again. This will present a food quality issue as our product is best when cooked from frozen

We do not recommend reheating any Strong Roots product after they have been cooked.

We're happy to say that all of our products are GMO free.

All Strong Roots products are free from Palm Oil.

Our products are made in locations close to where our vegetables are grown. For example, the UK, Austria, Belgium, France & USA.

Plant-based food is any food made only from plants - fruit, vegetables, grains, pulse etc. We use the term plant-based to distinguish what we do from the 'analogue' meat products that are available. Our products aren't a replacement for meat, they're a way to help people to eat more veg. We like to say that what goes into them is grown, not made.

We are constantly trying to improve and work on ensuring that our packaging is more environmentally friendly - this is extremely important to us. Some of our burger SKUs moved to carboard boxes in order to reduce our use of plastic. The Product Team is continually working on ways we can improve all of our packaging going forward

We have moved our burgers range to boxes, and we switched our packaging over to a new recyclable LDPE (symbol 4). We can assure you our product team are working on dedicated solutions for our consumers to offer widely recycling packaging options.

This year we will be assessing all of our products for their environmental impact, and identifying the areas in our supply chain where we can improve things. We're also looking at our offices in Dublin, London and New York and making simple changes that add up to a positive impact, and get us all thinking about our actions! Watch this space for positive developments in this regard, as we will definitely be sharing our news.

We use a responsible sourcing platform to ensure that we can stand over our supply chain - making sure that those we work with are treated and compensated fairly, and that our suppliers are conscientious about their own impact on the environment.

All SR bags are made using LDPE 4 recyclable material. We switched our packaging over to a new recyclable LDPE (symbol 4) film. However, many recycling centers and bin providers do not have the facility for recycling it. We recommend contacting your local bin provider to ensure they can take LDPE (symbol 4). If the provider or recycling center cannot take it, it is advised to avoid putting the plastic in the recycling bin.

Many supermarkets now have collection points for soft plastics and these bags can be returned here. We know how important it is for our customers and our planet to reduce and eliminate plastic. We can assure you our product team are working on dedicated solutions for our consumers to offer widely recycling packaging options.

Our products are made in Austria and France. We work with really impressive suppliers who use innovative techniques to reduce inputs and waste, and reuse resources like water. Some of our facilities now create biogas from food waste, even further reducing their impact on the environment.
